This website introduced Oak RV Parts and Service, formerly known as Don Mar RV Sales, as a family-owned RV business in Lynchburg, South Carolina, just off Interstate 95. It had been making campers happy for more than 30 years, from sales and service to parts and accessories.
For many years the business was an Airstream dealer, selling and servicing new Airstreams. Its service department worked on all types of travel trailers, fifth wheels, campers, pop-ups, horse trailers, cargo trailers and toy haulers, and especially Airstream travel trailers, along with RV appliances, rubber roofs, wheels, tires and axles. The team also had experience with Forest River, Keystone, Thor, Winnebago and Jayco RVs.
The parts department specialized in Airstream parts and kept Airstream owners' manuals and service manuals going back to the 1970s, as well as parts for brands such as Zip Dee, Carefree, Dometic, Norcold, Thetford and Atwood. Among the used units listed on the site was a 1955 Spartan trailer with its original appliances, windows, bathroom fixtures and birch paneling.
